WHAT: Follow Jane Austen on her travels through Regency England with cultural historian Lorella Brocklesby
In this illustrated talk, you’ll discover the historic places and country houses Austen visited in Bath; theaters she enjoyed in London; the Georgian hotel that still exists in Southhampton where she celebrated a birthday; and more. Ms. Brocklesby teaches at NYU and Parsons and lectures widely. A reception will take place after the presentation.
