You can be part of the International Coastal Cleanup that helps keep our shoreline both beautiful and free of hazards to people and wildlife. Two locations where you can help are in Manor Park and along the Larchmont Reservoir on Saturday September 20 from 10 AM to 12 noon.
Register now with Sheldrake Environmental Center via email to scheduling@sheldrakecenter.org . Cleanup will be located at Larchmont Manor Beach, 99 Park Ave, Larchmont, NY, and also at the Larchmont Reservoir Conservancy, 687 Weaver Street, Larchmont, NY 10538.
Participants receive a free reusable bag courtesy of the Village of Larchmont Committee on the Environment (while supplies last).
The International Coastal Cleanup is a worldwide effort by The Ocean Conservancy (www.oceanconservancy.org) to document and remove marine debris.
