Saturday night’s 3rd annual Fire and Ice Hockey game, a great local sporting event that pits two area fire departments together on the ice rink, will raise money for the family of Robert DelVecchio.
DelVecchio died in a tragic accident in November at the Maxwell maintenance yard in the Town of Mamaroneck. He was a maintenance engineer for the Town, and a well-liked volunteer for the Harrison Ambulance Corp and Town of Mamaroneck Fire Dept.
This year will feature “chuck a puck”, a 50/50 raffle and prize raffles. Included in the silent auction will be a signed football by Giants Super Bowl Winner Antrel Rolle #26.
The game begins at 7:00 pm, March 10, at the Hommocks Ice Rink.
