
On Sunday, November 18, Audubon Society expert Doug Bloom and Sheldrake Environmental Center in Larchmont will host a free bird watching field trip from 8- 9 am to look for late fall migrating birds and our own locally wintering birds.
Bloom is a former president of the Bronx River-Sound Shore Audubon Society and its current vice president. He is a lifelong birder, experienced field trip leader, and all-around nature and birding enthusiast.
The field trip will meet at 8 am at the Sheldrake Environmental Center main parking lot. Please bring binoculars if you can. Sign-up information is available here.
