The present day Mamaroneck Town Center, the building at West Boston Post Road, served as the High School when it was built in 1888, and gradually became the Town Center by 1969. One reader posts on our Facebook page , “they put the 9th Graders there in 1969; it was awful we had to cross muddy field in our miniskirts.”
