theLoop has received several complaints about counterfeit Uggs sold in the area. And as it turns out, these Australlian boots
are the most counterfeited brand of the season.
Since it’s holiday gift frenzy time, and rather than single any one store out, if you’re determined to get the real thing, around $100 a pair, check on-line for an authorized retailer. The complaints we received are about a local store not on this list.
Then again, you can do what we do, and go to Target, where no one’s pretending they’re Uggs and they’re $25 bucks.
